Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American version of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the eastern with the wild west in an awesome game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the dealer, not like most other poker games that players wager against other players. By wagering against the dealer, starting players do not have to fret about other, more knowledgeable gamblers taking their moolla.

One more Pai Gow advantage is the fairly slow game pace, beginners are able to take their time and scheme without having to make hasty choices.

It’s also much simpler to participate in for an extended time with only a little amount of cash after all, to not win, each of your hands has to be under each of the houses hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is given 7 cards face up and the dealer is given seven cards face down.

A five card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand has to be stronger than the two card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
