Web poker has become world acclaimed recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV ratings. Over the years several types on the earliest poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with 21 than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the house instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or different kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to pay up just before the croupier broadcasting "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the house and of course all of the other gamblers attain 5 cards. Once you have seen your hand and the bank’s first card, you must either make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s value is on same level to your beginning bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Abandoning means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the wager comes the showdown. If the house does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, plus an amount in accordance with the ante. If the casino has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The casino pays out chips even with your wager and set odds on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
