Pai Gow Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the modern American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the far east with the wild west in an awesome game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player versus the house, unlike the majority of other poker games that gamblers wager with other gamblers. By wagering against the dealer, new players do not have to be concerned about any other, more skillful individuals winning their money.
Another Pai Gow advantage is the relatively leisurely game pace, rookies can take their time and plan without having to make hasty selections.
It’s also easier to wager on for a long time with just a small bit of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands must be lower than each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the customary 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards face up and the casino is given 7 cards face down.
A 5 card hand and a 2 card hand have to be made from the seven cards, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand totals to be higher than the casino’s.
